A father is responsible for fatally shooting his estranged wife, his son, and his son’s ex-wife before using the same gun to kill himself, according to authorities in Jackson County, Miss.
The bodies of Thomas Griswold, 64, Veronica Griswold, 64, Bjorn Griswold, 36, and Jillian Pavolini, 39, were found Thursday evening at a Mississippi home.
According to a press release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting, Thursday evening. Upon arrival, a single gunshot was heard.
“It’s believed that’s when the suspect killed himself,” the release read:
Jackson County sheriff’s investigators have confirmed four people who died of gunshot wounds Thursday night, April 7, were the victims of a domestic related murder suicide. The shootings happened at a home on Oak View Circle in the Latimer community around 7:30pm.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says when deputies got to the home after getting a 911 call about a shooting, they heard a shot inside. It’s believed that’s when the suspect killed himself.
The victims are identified as: Thomas Griswold, 64 years old, the shooter, Veronica Griswold, 64, estranged wife of Thomas, Bjorn Griswold, 36, the couple’s son, Jillian Pavolini, 39, Bjorn’s ex-wife.
