The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian army has regained control of the Ukrainian city of Melitopol.
As the military operation launched by Russia in Ukraine is completing its second day, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that another city in Ukraine has been seized.
Announcing that the city of Melitopol, on the coast of the Azov Sea, where the clashes were most intense after Kharkov, was taken by Russian forces, the Russian Ministry of Defense said:
“On the evening of February 25, after an amphibious attack on the Azov (Ukraine) settlement, Russian troops advanced and entered Melitopol without encountering resistance.”
However, Russian soldiers were captured on camera looting from a store in the city. Watch video below:
