Popular Nigerian Designer identified as Omale Ojima aka OJ Best, Who Made Shoes For Osinbajo, Dies
It could be recalled that the shoemaker went viral after tweeting at Vice President Yemi Osinbajo about his products and making shoes for him.
Osinbajo surprised the young entrepreneur, by sending his aides to meet the man after he had offered to make shoes for him.
He had made a shoe for Osinbajo and asked for a chance to be his personal shoe maker in a bid to boost his brand and expand his reach.
OJBEST Footwear’s first tweet was made on November 9, 2020, where he urged people on the platform to help him promote his tweet so that the Vice President would see it.
He succeeded in meeting and becoming the vice president’s shoemaker.
It was unfortunate to understand Ojbest’s death was announced on his Twitter handle on Sunday evening, February 27.
The tweet read, “PAINFUL EXIT!! Call to Glory, the CEO of OJBest footwear is dead.”
As at the time of this report, the cause of his death is not made public.
