50 Persons K!lled As Terrorists Attack Kaduna State Communities (Photos)

No fewer than 50 people were eliminated by bandits after the terrorists attacked nine communities in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Thursday, March 24.

The bandits also abducted unspecified number of persons, burnt houses and vehicles, motorcycles and rustled over 100 cows, a member of Vigilante Group in Dillalai area, Mansur Ibrahim said, adding that “The villages affected were Dillalai, Zango Tama, Kaya, Barebari, Anguwan Bakko, Gidan Alhajin Kida, Kadanya and Durumi among others.

‚ÄúDillalai was worst hit by the attack where about 15 people were reported to be killed, with five commercial trucks and five houses burnt. The bandits also burnt a church at Zangon Tama village, all in Giwa local government area.”

The sad development was confirmed in a statement released by the spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalinge.

He said the command is yet to compile the actual number of deaths recorded during the invasion, adding that “We are still waiting for the full details of the incident from the Divisional Police Officer, Giwa and the Area Commander Zaria.”
