Two young teenagers’ bodies were discovered just days after they vanished, prompting their families to make an agonizing appeal for information.
The bodies discovered on Sunday afternoon are thought to be those of missing classmates Lyric Woods, 14, and Devin Clark, 18, according to the families of the two high school students.
According to WRAL, the Orange County Sheriff’s office has grounds to think that Woods and Clark’s bodies will be identified.
About three o’clock in the afternoon, two men riding four-wheelers in North Carolina reportedly found the remains beside a powerline.
The bodies look to be under 20 years old, according to the local police department, and all have gunshot wounds.
After the bodies were discovered, a homicide inquiry was opened.
According to WRAL, her grandpa on Monday offered a reward of $14,800 (about $10,000) to anyone with information regarding the individual who is suspected of killing Woods.
