The suspects, identified as Ismaila Ibrahim, 21, Musa Muhammad, 26, Irekura Abu, 43, and Okanlawon Muhammad, 26, were detained after a string of kidnapping incidents in the Abeokuta areas of Soyooye and Ibara Orile.

Additionally, they admitted to the police that they were behind the kidnapping of one Kafayat Jelili on September 27, 2022, in the Ogo titun area of Ibara Orile. Ismaila Ibrahim and Okanlawon Muhammad, the last two, were taken into custody as a result of their confession.
