Boko Haram ambushed a jihadist faction, ISWAP, around Gabara/Galta hideouts close to Mandara mountains of Lake Chad axis.
It was gathered that Boko Haram terrorists destroyed 4 ISWAP’s Gun trucks with Russian Dushka and BMGS.
Salemgists gathered that the terrorists killed ISWAP Commander Abou Sadiquo Buorubouru in the ambush.
ISWAP split from Boko Haram in 2016 and rose to become the dominant jihadist group, focusing on attacking military bases and ambushing troops.
The two factions turned staunch enemies since the split and regularly fight for dominance.
