A man from Ebonyi state identified as Ozuma Bright Chimezie dies in police custody after he was arrested over an alleged connection with the Biafran agitation.
It was gathered that he was arrested by the security operatives arrested the man for wearing Biafran attire.
The development was disclosed by Kanunta Kanu, brother to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanunta said in a tweet that Ozuma was arrested on Monday, 13th March, from the Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State and his lawyer had attempted to visit him on the 16th but was denied access.
According to Kanunta, Ozuma died in police custody yesterday, ten days after his arrest. Kanunta alleged that the deceased was murdered.
