Women groups protesting the rejection of gender bills by the two chambers of the National Assembly on Tuesday gained access into the first gate.
Salwmgists gathered that some security operatives on ground are preventing them from moving further.
The women insist on being addressed by the leadership of the parliament over their demands.
The National Assembly had rejected all women-related bills including the one seeking to give at least ten slots to women as ministers and commissioners in the federal and state governments.
