Shetu Bamai Sangayama, a woman who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in Sept 2014 with her 4 children comprising of 3 female 1 male is among the 43 women rescued by Nigerian troops of 202 Battalion deployed under 21 Special Armoured Brigade Sector 1 Operation HADIN KAI.
Salemgists had reported that no fewer than 13 insurgents affiliate to the Jama’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihad faction of Boko Haram were eliminated by Nigerian troops and 43 women, children and one elderly man held in captivity by the terrorists were rescued on April 7, 2022.
It was recalled that the husband of the victim Mr Bamai Shangayama had in 2016 solicited for prayers over his missing wife and children, stating that they were abducted two years ago by Boko Haram on his Facebook page.
